Chix
on Snow is a program for women by women. Ski or Ride with like minded
women and develop your skills in a no-pressure peer supported environment
and debrief each day with a free beverage in our Rafters bar! Now
offered to Telemarkers too. Maximum
6 women to 1 teacher ratio.

Girls Day
Out
Girls
Day Out was started to get more females skiers on the slopes and
connect those who are already out there. The two-day camps are designed
to activate your true ski potential. The foundations of our camps
is to provide is a supportive community of like-minded female athletes,
who will help you grow on and off your skis. The camps included
personalized professional coaching from top professional female
skiers, workshop on motivation and sport psychology with professional
skier-Leah Evans, Rossignol demo skis, on site photographer, delicious
lunches, guaranteed prizes and much more
Girls
Day Out is returning to its original location for a special one-day
clinic during the Powder Magazine event The Gathering. This
clinic is aimed at offering female skiers the opportunity to learn
and ski with some of Canadas leading freeskiers. Along with
the camp, participants will be able to enjoy all of the festivities
The Gathering has to offer, including a complimentary ticket to
the evening event Girls Do Ski-The rise of females in the
ski industry. This camp is limited to 20 participants, which provides
a 5:1 ratio of coaches to participants.
Additionally,
a professional cinematographer will be working alongside our professional
female photographer to provide exciting footage of the Girls Do
Ski camp.

Keen Rippin
Chix Ski Camp
British
Colombia, Canada & Alison Gannetts Rippin Chix have
teamed up to offer KEEN Rippin Chix Steep Skiing camp at the
infamous Kootney Mountains of British Columbia. This 2-day camp
includes two full days of instruction and video analysis, with Alisons
famous steep skills toolbox instuction. Win huge prizes at her sustainability
trivia contest during Saturdays happy hour from 4-6pm, guests
welcome. Brush up on the green efforts by Alison and her sponsors.
The
instruction will focus on steep skiing with several group levels,
from introductory to steep skiing to mastering the steeps. Participants
must be able to make 10 consecutive turns on a black diamond run
and are welcome to join with either alpine or telemark gear.
Steeps
Camp Levels:
A level - can ski 10 consecutive turns on a black run
B level - Those who wish to start skiing double blacks at harder
areas like Crested Butte, Whistler, Jackson, Taos, Tahoe. Can ski
double blacks at Vail, Copper, East Coast resorts - etc
C level - Those who can ski double blacks but need confidence and
tricks to negotiate rocks and stumps
D level - Those who can ski double blacks everywhere all the time
and wish to learn to jump off rocks and ski faster
E level - Those looking jump bigger cliffs, straightline and compete
in extreme contests.
