Women's
Ski Camps
Mammoth's
premier ski/snowboard clinic for women, taught by women. Mammoth's
top female instructors are eager to take you all over Mammoth Mountain's
exciting terrain. Take on new challenges while working on your personalized
goals. This is a great way to meet other skiers or snowboarders
and have some "girl time" fun.
"What
a wonderful week! My friends and I look forward to doing this ski
clinic all year and we always have the best time. The instructors
really are awesome and keep it fresh and fun. The clinic has made
such a difference in my skiing and we enjoy every minute of it...especially
the apres ski party and fashion show! Count me in again this year,
I can't wait!" - Corinne Berry, 4th year
"It's
great to ski with the girls, laughing, learning and improving on
our ski technique. The environment created by the ski clinic organizers
and instructors is one of support and encouragement in addition
to being a ton of fun! Our group has been participating in the women's
ski seminar for the past three years and will hopefully continue
the tradition for many more to come!" - Pia Jensen

Sample
schedule:
Meet at 9am at the Main Lodge Ski and Snowboard School for registration,
introductions and a quick breakfast. We then take a few warm up
runs on groomed terrain to help evaluate your skill, pacing and
terrain comfort zones. The goal of this process is to ensure you
are in a group that wishes to ski/snowboard about the same speed
on about the same terrain. Once we successfully match you up with
the right group your instructor will lead you through three days
of learning, adventure and discovery on Mammoth Mountain's legendary
terrain. Lunch is provided at the on-mountain restaurant location
of your group's choice each day. 8am complimentary breakfast and
meet the instructors. 9am warm up run. Then divide into groups according
to ability level and preferred terrain. This split is very important
to provide a fun and successful learning experience. Complimentary
lunch each day at different locations around the mountain. The skiing
day ends around 3pm and the nightime activities begin. Nightly activities
are scheduled differently for each camp and may include après
ski, spa parties, dinner, ski tuning clinics or boot fitting clinics.
