Women's Ski + Snowboard Clinics

Improve your skills in the bumps, powder, trees, terrain parks, pipes and/or groomers at Northstar® Resort's progressive all day clinics designed for intermediate to advanced female skiers and snowboarders.

Snowboard

An all day snowboard clinic for women or any skill level every Friday. Includes all day lesson and an all access lift ticket. Demo equipment available. Interested participants meet on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. at the Burton Snowboard Academy at mid-mountain.

Burton Snowboard Academy: Women's Series

Includes Burton snowboard rental, all access lift ticket, and all day lesson for women of all ability levels. Students receive snowboard equipment at the Burton Snowboard Academy lounge at Mid Mountain.

The Difference

The Burton Snowboard Academy is different than the Burton Learn to Ride (LTR) Program.

* Length of Lesson: Burton Snowboard Academy 6-hours (with optional video analysis) vs. LTR 2.5 hours
* Instructor:Student Ratio: Burton Snowboard Academy 1:4 vs. LTR 1:6 (LTR class ratio's are not guaranteed and may go up to 12 students)
* Hands-On: Hands-on involvement by the coach from fitting boots and a board to linking the first turns
* Terrain Features: Exclusive use of mini rollers, mini halfpipe, and small banks.
* Equipment: Demo Equipment, Red Helmets and Wrist Guards available free of charge
* Private Lounge: Access to private Burton Snowboard Academy Lounge and firepits
