Kim Reichhelm's Women's Ski Adventures

Kim Reichhelm - former member of the US Ski Team - has been hosting Women's Ski Adventures for over 20 years.

Women’s Ski Adventures are designed for skiers looking to improve technique and confidence, to learn about proper equipment, and to break through to the next level. Kim Reichhelm and her hand picked staff guide and teach on slopes suitable to your ability. If you are just learning, getting back into it after some time off or stuck in that intermediate rut, Kim and her ski guides know that environment is everything. If you are enjoying yourself and trust the people you are with, that’s when the break-throughs happen.

Groups are small for individualized attention and divided by ability and aggressiveness so that will not be pushed too hard or get stuck standing around waiting for others. Kim respects your vacation time and will help you make the most of it. Kim believes “more skiing, less talking” is the way to improve; “one concept at a time and then practice, practice, practice.” Through video feedback in a private setting you will learn faster and have a clearer understanding of what you need to do to improve. If necessary, your equipment needs will be addressed and a technician is always on hand to help.

Women’s Ski Adventures addresses individual equipment needs and will teach you about equipment so that you have more confidence. Demo skis, boots, poles and helmets are available free of charge. If you are interested in buying equipment, Kim’s staff will help you through the process, ensuring your buying decision is the right one. Video review during our private après ski is extremely helpful. Not only will you learn how to change your technique but you will also learn how the right equipment will make skiing easier and more fun.

Ski Adventures include:
* 4 day clinic with video review
* Lift tickets
* Welcome reception
* 4 Lunches
* 3 Apres ski parties
* Product demos
* Gift bag

She Skis - A Women-Only Ski-Testing Clinic

Treat yourself in 2011 and sign up for SHE SKIS Women's Ski Clinic!

What is it? She Skis is a women-only ski testing clinic. It's a balance of high-end instruction and the opportunity to demo over 30 pairs of women-specific skis with instructors helping you to both improve your technique, your knowledge and experience level. Off the slopes, She Skis is about camaraderie, apres-ski parties, great food and a gear bag full of clothes, hats and other fun things.

Top female instructors from Vail, lead by pro ski instructors and former ski testers such as Linda Guerrette, will teach participants the latest ski technique as well as how to test skis.

What does the program include? The clinic includes a three-day lift ticket, over 30 pairs of skis to demo of the hottest new gear (before it hits the market) from Atomic, Dynastar, Fischer, K2, Salomon, Blizzard, Head, Kastle, Elan, Rossignol and Volkl, instruction in a small-group setting, ski test cards, an intro party, daily apres-ski wine and cheese parties with tech talks about boots and boot-fitting, women-specific needs, and news on the newest gear from each ski company—plus raffles, T-shirt, awesome goodie gear bag and more.
