Wild Mountain Women's Academy

The Academy is open to women 18 years old and over, of all ability levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and riders.

Whether your objective is to learn the basics of a snowsport or to ski or ride in control on any terrain in any conditions, our experienced women instructors are ready to help you realize your goals. Develop new skills, improve existing technique, and have fun with other women who share your objectives.

Night school is available for those who are unable to attend during the day.

Dates for Winter 2011/2012:
Wednesdays, 7pm-9pm: January 04, 11, 18, 25, February 01, 08 and 15
Fridays, 10.30am-12:30pm: January 06, 13, 20, 27, February 03, 10 and 17

WOMEN'S RACE CAMP

7th Annual Women's Race Camp. Gain insight into the competitive world of women's racing. Learn in a friendly environment for women by women. The camp philosophy of simplicity and a lot of on-snow training is sure to jump start your racing season. Start by working on four areas of ski fundamentals. After working on the mechanics, you are ready to drill on race principals and tactics. In addition to gate training and tactics, you wil work on starts, finishes and mental preparation. Camp covers the entire cycle from early season training to race day preparedness. Women Ages 18+

2 day race camp: December 03-04 (Sat-Sun)

WOMEN’S RACE REFRESHER

Designed for women actively participating in racing, especially those who have been to the Women’s Race Camp. Build on the base you have as you work with your coach to enhance existing skills and develop new ones. This one day camp is all about gate time. One session will be offered, and it is limited to 16 athletes. Lunch is included. Women Ages 18+
