The Canyons offers specialized women's workshops directed by Olympian and World Cup champion Holly Flanders.

Holly has been directing women's workshops for many years and knows how to provide a dynamic learning experience. Participants are challenged at a level in which they feel comfortable and safe. The workshops are unique because they enable women to improve their skiing in an atmosphere of support and friendship. Many come back year after year and have made lifetime friendships with other participants. The Holly Flanders Workshops offer more than just ski instruction. They are fun, challenging, and give women the confidence to expand their ski horizons.

Day One starts with tech talks; we will meet at 8:15 am in the mezzanine area of The Grand Summit Resort Hotel. On the mountain, participants form small groups with skiers of similar ability levels. Mid-day, the groups have lunch at one of our on-mountain restaurants. After a great afternoon ski session, après-ski consists of hors d'oeuvres, video analysis, and tips on ski equipment, boot fitting and alignment, stance and balance; we conclude at about 5:00 pm each day. If it's fun, it's easy. Three days of skiing with world class athletes and instructors. No pressure technique tips. Enjoy the experience of becoming a better skier.

Individuals must be intermediate level skiers or above.
Age Description: 18 & up
