Women's Workshops

We offer a variety of activities for women of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide a menu of offerings to entice all Stratton Women to get out and enjoy the local environment! Whether it is skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, yoga or a specialty class, Stratton Women can choose from an extensive list of fun activities that encourage camaraderie, skill enhancement and enjoyment of winter.

Women's Ski and Snowboard Workshops

Join the Stratton Snowsports School for our comprehensive on snow workshop. We offer two and three day options through-out the winter. Staffed by our quality female instructors, this program provides a supportive, fun learning environment for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. From beginner to expert we will help you develop your abilities and confidence while having fun and meeting other like minded women!

Workshop includes 2 on snow sessions per day, breakfast and lunch daily and one group dinner. Start the day with an invigorating stretch and breakfast, followed by on snow sessions directed at raising comfort levels, skill enhancement and terrain exploration. We provide video analysis coaching for all participants.

Take a break mid-day for a delicious lunch prepared especially for the women's workshop group. Discussions and special programs offered during the lunch break.

The afternoon on-snow session is the perfect time to put your newly acquired skills into practice while exploring Stratton's great terrain!

All in all, this workshop is designed for your enjoyment, well being and fun!

Bring the kids! Workshop participants children may attend Child Care, Big Cub or Little Cub for $49.00 per day. Reservations are required.

Green Mountain Women on Wednesdays

Green Mountain Women at Stratton Mountain It is a long winter….save Wednesdays for Stratton! All are invited for fresh air, fun and friendship…..every non-holiday Wednesday this winter at Stratton!

As all skiers/riders have a variety of interests, we'll meet as one group in the morning for coffee and again at noon for lunch, with different groups heading off to ski or board a variety of trails….very flexible…you can ski with your friends or join a group and make some new friends.

• CHOOSE: Ski, Snowboard, Snowshoe, XC Ski, Swim! Something for everyone, no matter the weather. Your GMW pass is good at the Stratton Sports Center on (non-holiday) Wednesdays, so you can swim or workout before, after, or in lieu of skiing!

Plus we would love to have some other activities available if you are so inclined: bridge, knitting, photography, ice skating, yoga ... What might you like to share…or do? Ski, lunch, bridge?

• LUNCH ~ we will meet for lunch in a variety of locations throughout the resort (Bear's Den, The Stratton Club, Mid-Mountain, etc.) Lunch is your expense but we try to keep offerings interesting and reasonable.

• COST ~ Green Mountain Women Season Pass (good all 18 non-holiday Wednesdays) for $179 plus tax. If you already have a Stratton Season Pass, join the fun with a GMW add-on for just $29 plus tax.

All registered Green Mountain Women will receive a welcome bag including the 50th anniversary GMW scarf.
